About the Book
There's something creepy about Mr. Creepy . . .
Mystery Muffin and her best friend Soda Pop Slooth get a new neighbor and strange things start to happen. A pack of wolves inhabit the small town of Whispering Hollow shortly after "Mr. Creepy" moves in. Rumors fly, everyone is whispering and all believe that the new resident may actually be a werewolf!
With the help of the police, Mystery and Soda Pop investigate their new neighbor and set out to find the answers to all the weird stuff going on.
Is it possible that the legend of Mr. Creepy is really true?

About the Story
Mystery Muffin and Soda Pop Slooth’s second adventure follows the kid detectives as they investigate a mystery at the annual Whispering Hollow Fall festival. The pumpkin-carving contest has allegedly kept the ghost of Crippler’s Creek at bay and the town safe for decades. This year the jack-o’-lantern goes missing and someone—or something—is wreaking havoc on the small town. The community once again turns to Mystery and Soda for answers. Join the kid sleuths on their investigation to find out the truth. Is the ghost of Crippler’s Creek fact or fiction?

Have you always enjoyed reading and writing?
Actually, no. When I was younger I really struggled with reading comprehension. I would read something and not remember any of it. It was very frustrating for me. My parents kept working with me and reading with me until I finally started to remember. It was a great feeling. It wasn't until many years later that I started writing. I want kids to know that despite something being difficult or challenging that they should keep trying - you never know what could happen!

Chad A. Webster spent half his life in Upstate NY and has lived for the last 18 years in NC. He maintains a successful Law Enforcement career while also writing the Mystery Muffin and Soda Pop Slooth Series.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.
He is active in his faith and community.
Chad is currently working on the next installment of Mystery Muffin and Soda Pop Slooth along with several other books.
